Board Certified Oral And Maxillofacial SurgeonDr. Gutta is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Dr. Gutta completed his surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the highly respected and coveted University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was privileged to train under some of the best surgeons in the country. Dr. Gutta obtained his Master’s Degree also from the University of Alabama where he was awarded the School of Medicine Fellowship Award. He is a recipient of several international awards. While in residency, Dr. Gutta developed an interest in research and teaching. He has served on faculty positions at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, University of Cincinnati, and the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to share his knowledge and experience with residents and students and was honored to serve on various academic committees. Dr. Gutta is a current fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Dental Association, Texas Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the International Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Gutta is dedicated to providing quality care in the head and neck region. He has numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications, several book chapters to his credit, and lectures nationally and internationally. Dr. Gutta also serves as a peer reviewer for several oral and maxillofacial surgery journals. Dr. Gutta practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with a special interest in rhinoplasty (nose job), obstructive sleep apnea, facial cosmetic surgery, and facial deformities. He also offers a wide range of treatment including routine oral surgery, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and TMJ surgery.
